Mint Frosting

Delicious mint green frosting perfect for holiday cupcakes. Creme de Menthe syrup mixed with butter, confectioner's sugar, and a dash of salt. Frosting for 24 cupcakes.
Ingredients -

1/2 cup Butter, softened
3 cups sifted Confectioner's Sugar
dash of Salt
1/4 cup Creme de Menthe Syrup

 
Preparation:

1. Cream butter with mixer.

2. Gradually add in half the sugar and dash of salt. Beat with mixer until well blended.

3. Gradually add in half the creme de menthe syrup.

4. Blend in remaining sugar and syrup, beating constantly until well mixed.

5. Frosts 2 dozen cupcakes.

Non-alcoholic syrup with cool, peppermint flavor, Available in most supermarkets, and online.

Batter required to make a 2 layer cake is enough to make 24 cupcakes, or 60 mini-sized cupcakes.
