Golden Butter Frosting

Golden frosting made from butter, confectioner's sugar, vanilla extract, egg yolk and milk. Frosting for 24 cupcakes.
Ingredients -

1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 Egg Yolk
2 tablespoons Buttermilk or Milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
3 cups Confectioners Sugar, sifted

 
Preparation:

1. Place butter, egg yolk, milk, vanilla and confectioners sugar in mixing bowl in order listed.

2. Beat at medium speed 3 minutes.

3. Add additional confectioners sugar if frosting is too thin.

Recipe produces enough frosting to frost 2 dozen cupcakes.
