Divinity Frosting

Seven minute vanilla frosting perfect for your favorite flavor cupcake.
Ingredients -

3 large Egg Whites
2 cups Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup cold Water
1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

 
Preparation:

1. In top of double boiler, mix egg whites, granulated sugar, water, vanilla extract, and cream of tartar.

2. Whisk 30 seconds.

3. Bring to a boil.

4. Cook mixture 7 minutes, while beating at high speed with electric mixer. Cook only until stiff peaks form.

Cream of tartar helps stabilize and give additional volume to beaten egg whites.
